P19 x2 Green Bowls

These two bowls are from Anne Roche, daughter of Catherine (Kitty) Roche. Kitty worked at Briglin for many years in the stockroom an most people would remember her if they worked there. I acquired these bowls (P19) along with the x3 ashtrays (P20 - P22) and the storage jar (M19) from Anne in Winter 2010. We had an enjoyable afternoon with a table full of Briglin and lots of memories. Anne kindly answered some of my numerous questions an I greatly enjoyed meeting her. Thanks Anne.

The two bowls are slightly different sizes, but the decoration is vivid white on a rich dark green field. If you look at the detail pictures you will see that the green ground has a depth of colour to it. It's very effective, and I don't remember seeing many items this colour.
