V29 Early Fluted Vase Just a simple form and striped decoration. Another wonderful vase. The shape is very pleasing and one of the most successful I have seen. The narrow neck flares to a dark oxide rim with contrasting white lining. Decoration is alternating black and white tapering stripes with flecks of green, yellow and ochre browns. It could be a decanter but I have seen no matching goblets. The neck darkens underneath with more oxide. This has the hand inscribed briglin letters. Undamaged. A nice vase. Big at approx 250mm high. It came from ebay, I had to pay much more than I wanted for it! 250mm high
