Briglin Pottery miniature

Lovely little thing. Very well formed and with nice textures.

I would guess at England period due to the glazes.

Similar colours to this vase.

The glazes have merged so well. I can se the white underglaze, speckles of a rich orange brown, a black oxide and a dirty greeny-blue that ranges from almost black to a wintery sea-sky blue.

The hi-resolution macro images could almost be of a vase the size of an apple but in reality it’s a little larger that the size of a squash ball.
