Briglin Pottery sunflower coffee set

One of the most common standard ranges. I believe this set was made after 1980. Many people must have them in the back of the kitchen cupboard as they quite common but still collectable when complete. This set has the typical, x6 coffee cans and x6 saucers, the pot with it’s lid and the sugar bowl and milk jug (15 items including lid). It looks great on the shelf, but as with the Briglin teapots the coffee pot is not great to pour from; The lid rattles a little and the pot is top heavy. You will need to hold the lid on whilst pouring.

The last picture shows the sunflower pot and swirl jug (?) alongside and a contemporary Anchor Pottery coffee pot dated 1976.
