Briglin Pottery dougal moneybank

These are very, very common.  Has to be based on ‘Dougal’ from The Magic Roundabout. They vary in shape a lot as several people made them over time and they all had different styles. I am assuming they were made for some time towards the end of the 70’s and 80’s. They are very numerous and were good sellers judging buy the number we see on ebay.

To get the money out you don’t need to do any damage, just insert a normal blunt knife and shake the money box and move the knife gently whilst holding the money box upside down. The coins will just fall out.
