Wye pottery, Clyro, Adam Dworski Dragon Plate

According to Studio Pottery Adam Dworski (1917-2011) moved to wales to set up Wye Pottery in 1952. His work is unusual and individual.

This colorful plate is obviously made by a man who knew his trade.

I find the contrasting back interesting as most makers would not go to this length on a part of the plate that can’t be seen, only felt.
